This is a gorgeous 1930 Packard 740 Custom Roadster with rumble seat and 6 wire wheels. It is an older quality restoration and shows well even after some years in dry storage. It starts easily and can be driven with confidence. It has the big 384 cubic inch straight eight engine. We would like to see this significant collector quality car remain in Australia, so we have advertised it here first. It would cost about $100, 000 more to import an equivalent car from America in todays market; even if you could find one this good. I own a small restoration shop north of Sydney Australia that has specialized in the big Cadillacs of the late 20s early 30s. A client of mine asked me to list this Packard for him to maintain his privacy. I am not a Packard expert, although I have owned a dozen or so over the years, but I can say that the restoration details on this car have passed my scrutiny. We are not trying to pass it off as one of the long lost original factory roadsters, nor are we saying its been rebodied. There is no way for us to tell for sure. It is what it is. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck..... Please examine the pictures to satisfy yourself of what you are buying. The colours are gorgeous and you will feel proud to own this Packard.
