Hi, Im Jerry. I am 45+ and heading out on an adventure. I have decided to drive up to Townsville, Qld from Wollongong, NSW, stopping at beaches along the way to record and document snorkel conditions along the way.
The trip will be done on a shoestring budget and travel will be done in my Toyota work van (empty except for 1 large equipment rack in the back). I will be camping most nights (have a petrol generator for overnight power) and staying at backpackers occasionally (when I need a proper bed and shower).
The ultimate destination is the Great Barrier Reef. I have always wanted to dive/snorkel it and there is no time like the present.
I am looking for another like minded individual (35-55yo) who wants to see this great country at sea level. The only requirements would be helping with petrol costs. You will obviously responsible for own expenses, so since this will be a ground level trip, costs shouldn't be too much.
I am planning to depart around Nov 21/22 and I must be back in Wollongong by Dec 17, so trip can last anywhere from 14 to 26 days.
So if your feeling a bit adventurous and wanna hit the road for a while, drop me a line. jjjerry32@hotmail.com
